Small Walk In Pantry Makeover Part 1
A few years ago I turned a small under the stairs closet into a pantry and storage for small appliances. It has been organized, cluttered, decluttered and re-cluttered so many times I've lost count. Here is what I did to attempt to get a true handle on the mess.
Organization Supplies:
• Large durable bins for food categories • Labels if desired (as of this video, I’m still working on mines) • food!
Directions:
• To save space, empty food items from their original boxes into bins. • I put heavier items on the bottom shelf. • The bins at eye level are things we use more often or would be looking for. • Items we use more often are closer to the door. That way they are easier access on a daily basis. • An over the door hanger was added to the door. Snacks are easy to access. Snacks the kids want are at their level. • These oversized bins allow for more food items to be stacked upwards. So it takes up less space on a shelf. Which creates a neater look even though it’s the same amount of food in the pantry.
